The paper you are practising for
KCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Each subject is a separate paper of 60 multiple-choice questions in 70 minutes. A correct answer earns one mark and a wrong answer costs nothing — there is no negative marking, so every question is worth attempting. Confirm the pattern for your year on the official KEA notification.

A four-step PYQ routine
- Learn the chapter first. Watch the lecture and finish the DPP before you touch a past paper — PYQs are for testing, not for first exposure.
- Solve chapter-wise, not year-wise, at the start. Pull every past question from one chapter and solve them together; the repeated pattern becomes obvious.
- Switch to full papers in the last two months. Solve complete papers in 70 minutes to build stamina and time sense.
- Keep an error log. Write down every question you got wrong with the reason — concept gap, silly mistake, or time. Revise that log before each mock.
